BIG NEWS!! WE ARE CHANGING THE DAY THE NEWSLETTER APPEARS TO WEDNESDAY!!! We (Agent A and Agent L) have agreed that since some people are making big bucks off of writing books and giving people hints and help, it's about time we stepped up to the plate and made our own...(wait for it) NEWSLETTER!!! Every week (or whenever we have time) we will write a new edition to the newsletter. Be sure to check this site every Wednesday (or so) to see if a new edition is posted, because soon as we write another newsletter, the other will be deleted. For edition number 21 we will be comparing Twilight by Stephanie Meyer and the Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling.
Why Harry Potter Is Phenomenal
*The series transports the readers to a magical world full of witches, wizards, magical creatures and everything great
*Teaches you love conquers all evil *J.K Rowling is a genius *You feel a real connection to the characters and the actors *The Battle Of Hogwarts is actually a battle between good and evil *There are hundreds of connections and unanswered mysteries that you realize way after the series is over *There are seven books and eight movies which are all amazing *Every 30 seconds someone starts reading Harry Potter *There is a theme park. Enough said *You grow up with and watch the characters develop into the people they grow up to be *The series has romance in it but not pointless lovey dovey crap. The relationships in this series don't make you want to barf, rather you cheer on the characters and rejoice when they end up married *There are thousands of life lessons you can get from these series among them: the importance of friendship, the power of love, good always wins, you don't have to be the best at everything to prosper, the effects of loss on humans, the effects of war, how people are stronger united than apart, bravery, devotion to a cause, "Look at how a man treats his inferiors and not his equals standing up for what you believe in and many, many more *“Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people. … The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.” ― Stephen King *If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals. ~ Spoken by Sirius Black in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Another great life lesson *The movies bring the books to life in such vivid detail complete with amazing actors and actresses and intricate sets. *You get to watch, literally, the actors and actresses grow up with the movies into the great people they are today. *The characters have their flaws, but it makes them human and real *The actors/actresses are great role models for today's youth or for anyone *Harry Potter can be enjoyed by anyone of all ages *This amazing series will be forever loved and never forgotten, it will be a classic |
Why Twilight Sucks*There's sparkly vampires
*Bella thinks its cute that Edward stalks her when really she should be calling the cops *They wear matching clothes *Teaches girls that you need a boyfriend to be anything *Robert Pattinson openly hates Twilight *Kirsten Stewart has about 20 seconds of emotion throughout the five movies *Bella goes into a coma like state when her boyfriend leaves her then jumps off a cliff. Lesson here? *There's no actual fighting at the end and everyone goes home happy *A werewolf marries his best friend's (who he used to love) baby who is half vampire...creeeeeepppppy and falls in love with her right after she's born *Everyone is beautiful and rich and talented, which makes them unreal and puts unrealistic images into the readers' heads *There are only four books and five movies all of which are terrible *The books are only a creepy romance between a overly attached obsessive girl and a stalker emo vampire who sparkles *Bella feels safe with a guy who would like to eat her *Edward thinks Bella's blood smells great, which she takes as a compliment *The creepy half vampire nearly kills her while climbing out of Bella's stomach *Try, just try to find a good life lesson: depend on your stalker boyfriend girls and jump off cliffs if he leaves you. See our point? *Stephanie Meyer is a good confidence booster: if she can sell this creepy warped story than you can sell your crap too! *“Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people. … The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.” ― Stephen King *The movies fail *Kirsten cheated on Robert and is a very boring person with about zero emotions *Enjoyed by boy-crazy teenage girls *Already forgotten |
